I did these two pieces in high school. They both deal with different aspects of my chronic illness. The first piece deals with childhood, illustrating how, when I was young, in many ways, the disease was shared between my mom and I. The second drawing deals with pain itself and the feeling of being trapped and locked into a broken body.
